MAZDA New Car Warranties

New Mazda vehicles are covered by two warranties: a New Vehicle Limited Warranty and a Powertrain Limited Warranty. The former warranty lasts for 36 months or 36,000 miles (whichever occurs first) while the latter remains in force for five years or 60,000 miles. There is no deductible for covered repairs with either warranty and both are transferable.

Nearly every component your vehicle had when you purchased it is covered by the New Vehicle Limited Warranty. This covers defects in materials and workmanship. The Powertrain Limited Warranty covers the same issues, but for the components and systems that make up your powertrain. This includes your engine, transmission, and drivetrain.

MAZDA Certified Pre-Owned Warranty

If you want to enjoy the benefits affiliated with pre-owned cars but don’t want a new vehicle, our Mazda Certified Pre-Owned models will interest you. Mazda Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are covered by a 12-Month/12,000-Mile Limited Vehicle Warranty that kicks in on the day you purchase your automobile. They’re also covered by a 7-Year/100,000-Mile Limited Powertrain Warranty that starts on the date your vehicle was originally purchased.

As is the case with the Mazda new car coverage, the Mazda Certified Pre-Owned warranties have no deductible for covered repairs, and they’re transferable should you decide to sell your vehicle down the line.
